Management
Training Workshops have been geared to middle management personnel on such
topics as Human Resources, Legalities, Operations, and marketing. Other seminar
meetings deal with a variety of topics. Watch for the dates of upcoming meetings.

|
CBC
works closely with the California Bankers Association (CBA) and Western Independent
Bankers (WIB). CBC is a co-sponsor along with CBA on an annual Legislative
Conference usually held in January in Sacramento.

|
|
|
Throughout
the year General Dinner Meetings are held in varied geographical locations
throughout the state. Keynote speakers are engaged to speak on current business
topics. sometimes, a panel will be featured with an opportunity for questions
and answers from the audience.

|
|
|
CBC
conducts an annual Convention each year, alternating between the North and
South. As part of the Convention, a business program features keynote speakers
on pertinent issues to the independent banking community. The Convention
provides an opportunity for bank executives to meet with their peers. It's
affordability and personalization has been applauded by many of those who
have attended through the years. Participants can also enjoy recreational
activities, such as tennis and golf, and share dinners together. An installation
ceremony of new officers takes place during a dinner dance which highlights
the weekend activities.
